We only offer two types of services: online subscriptions and personal 1-on-1 mentoring programs. We have over 3,000 episodes of content in our online programs and most reside in Firmsconsulting Insider.
Subscriptions: all billed monthly.
FC Insider: This access level will contain over 31 exclusive training programs not available anywhere else + eligibility to online coaching + internships + ability to download content. The content can be found on StrategyTraining.com and our Apps: Apple + Android + Roku + Apple TV. This is our flagship loyalty program and is complimentary to Premium members whom have been subscribed for >6 consecutive months and remain in good standing. One cannot subscribe to this level since it is only awarded to long-term members.

Case Interviews: $12,000 for 12 hours of coaching (~80% success rate for McKinsey and BCG and all clients automatically receive internships* at the end of the program.)
*Firmsconsulting is launching a unique program with one of the largest US companies by market capitalization, an eminent West Coast technology giant. In fact, many will argue it is harder to join this eminent market leader vs. joining McKinsey or BCG. As part of this pilot, we are pleased to announce significant changes to all of our partner-led coaching programs and Firmsconsulting Insider loyalty program.
These changes further our mission of grooming values-based and highly skilled leaders to solve mankind’s toughest problems. In the roles below, participating candidates will have an opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and impactful initiatives in the world, with some of the brightest people in their fields.
Impact on coaching programs:
All clients admitted to any of our 1-on-1 coaching programs after 1 August 2017 will automatically be offered a paid ~3 months strategy/business development/product development internship at the elite technology firm irrespective of whether or not they secure an offer at McKinsey, BCG or Bain, but only after completion of all 12 sessions in the coaching program and provided they remain a client in good standing, the latter as solely determined by Firmsconsulting.
This offer will not apply retroactively to the past or current coaching clients.
Please note that we are not making changes to our training programs. They work as evidenced by our >80% placement rates and partnerships with leading companies. We remain 100% focused on McKinsey, Bain and BCG. However, the critical thinking skills, and technology and digital strategy concepts we teach are unique and our alumni have done well in these fields, hence the interest from technology firms.
All applicants must agree to have their information shared with the technology company since Firmsconsulting does not voluntarily share client information. We do not sell nor market client data.
In a necessary change to accompany this exciting program, Firmsconsulting will now require applicants to undergo background checks and reference checks as part of the application process to our coaching programs, unless applicant communicates prior to coaching interviews commencement that he or she is not interested in the internship and full-time offer from the technology firm.
About the role:
The package includes a market-leading salary, bonus potential, sign-on bonus, and medical and dental coverage, and relocation bonus where deemed necessary by the company. And, of course, exposure to some of the brightest minds, impactful projects, most dynamic cities, powerful corporate cultures, and vibrant sectors in the world. Participating candidates will have an opportunity to work on problems that truly matter to the future of mankind.
If the client successfully receives an offer from McKinsey or BCG, which happens to >80% of our case interview coaching clients, then they would have to choose if they would still wish to participate in the internship. Internship dates are set at the discretion of the technology firm.
Provided deadlines for accepting offers allow, clients may participate in the internship to compare opportunities and only thereafter make a decision on which offer to accept.
Anyone from any country may apply and the company may but is not guaranteed to sponsor visas and will make that decision on a case by case basis for either their US or Canadian offices. Successful applicants to our coaching program will be provided with the name of the company and outline of the role being offered to them before they need to accept our offer to join our coaching program, but only once we decide to extend such an offer and once NDA is signed.
Full-time offer exceptions:
Our goal is to eventually secure for all coaching clients and FC Insiders roles that will help them develop the right skills, networks, mindset, confidence etc to be in a position to make a noticeable positive difference in the world. Therefore, as part of a pilot, some clients may be offered full-time offers instead of internships. Should this be the case you will not have the option to participate in an internship and will need to compare your technology firm offer with your McKinsey, BCG etc offers, before making a decision.
Impact on FC Insider loyalty program:
At this time, Firmsconsulting Insiders must manually apply to carefully vetted positions we post on our website for general strategy and management roles at major organizations. We admit this is a cumbersome process. We also know many FC Insiders very well and can make more accurate assessments of the fit between their profiles and the roles on offer. Therefore, as part of this pilot, from 1 September 2017, if we find Firmsconsulting Insiders whom we think will be an appropriate fit for the unique internship opportunities below, we will nominate them for the internship/full-time roles described here. This is another reward for being a loyal client.
It is important to note that while this is only a pilot for coaching clients and selected FC Insiders, the goal is to extend this and similar programs to all FC Insiders.

This is one reason our alumni have excelled in technology roles. They have been taught unique skills to solve tough problems.
We understand that many will be interested in this program. However, given the volume of emails we receive we can only fully assess your candidacy once you apply for coaching, go through our interviews if interviews invitation is extended, and complete our background and reference checks. We are unable to offer feedback by reviewing partial applications.
Also please note that from 1 June 2017 only FC Insiders are eligible to apply for any of our coaching programs. FC Insider status is granted to Premium members in good standing who were Premium members for 6 consecutive months.
Firmsconsulting will not have a conflict of interest as a result of these changes since we are not compensated by the firms nor do we set up exclusive arrangements with any one firm. Our focus remains to help build the next generation of leaders in business, government, and academia so that they can solve mankind’s toughest problems. Everything we do is done in pursuit of that mission.
Mentoring consultants: $20,000 for 12 hours
We mentor current consultants whom are at the level of associate principal and below. Clients may be employed at any consulting firm including boutique firms. We help clients accelerate their career by being promoted faster than their peers and significantly improving their performance.
Executives: $100,000 for 10 hours
This is our flagship program for senior executives, business leaders and CEOs. An example of this program is helping Andrew become a senior equity partner, at one of the world’s largest professional services firms, from the level of senior manager. This was accomplished in just 3 years under our guidance. In this one instance we received permission to document and record the entire program which you can follow on our Apps: Apple + Android.
To maximize the benefit of working with ex-partners, we find clients who have the core skills taught in our online programs perform best. Our program is competitive to join and we admit no more than ~5% of applicants in a single year. We seek applicants aspiring to one day become partners by demonstrating the innate attributes and values of a future partner.
While we maintain a >80% placement rate (as at March 2017) for McKinsey & BCG, we must caution applicants that the program is difficult and requires a significant time commitment. Overall, when applying we further advise all applicants to have alternative preparation plans should your application to our program prove unsuccessful.
Firmsconsulting does not divulge client identities. We offer no discounts and/or refunds. Although not mandatory, we prefer applicants referred by previous clients. All applicants are required to go through mandatory assessment interviews to determine a fit for our mentoring approach. Thereafter, successful applicants invited to our programs will be required to sign three documents: Non-Disclosure Agreement, Contract and acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
